Beginner Nosework Discover the fun of Nosework and watch your dog do what comes naturally! Nosework is a rewarding activity that encourages dogs to use their incredible sense of smell to search, solve problems, and build confidence. As dogs learn to search, they also develop focus, independence, and a stronger connection with their handlers. In this class, dogs will be introduced to target odors while learning the foundations of Nosework in a fun, positive, and supportive environment. Puppies, senior dogs, shy dogs, reactive dogs, and busy dogs who need a positive outlet for their energy are all welcome. No previous training or Nosework experience is necessary. Each dog works individually in a calm, supportive environment, allowing every team to learn and progress at their own pace. Exercises can be adapted to meet the individual needs of each dog. Dogs will be crated while waiting for their turn. This helps provide each dog with their own personal space and allows for a calm, focused learning environment.
